Mario Cavazos Photography

Mario Alberto Cavazos Vela (b. 1963) began taking photographs in Los Angeles, California in 1992. In 1995 he exhibited for the first time in Santa Monica, California. He then moved back to his native Monterrey, Mexico and taught photography at the University of Monterrey. In 2001 Mario moved to New York were he now resides. He has since then had three solo exhibitions in the city as well as several participations in group exhibitions. In January of 2006 he received a Honorable Mention for his participation in the Members’ Juried Show at Soho Photo Gallery, New York.
